Job Description

Cookeville, Tennessee, Positions report directly to the Director of Video and Marketing. Both positions in conjunction with Director of Video and Marketing create marketing and promotions initiatives for intercollegiate athletics, including special events, social media, fundraising involvement and community outreach. Coordinates the planning and distribution of marketing and promotional materials. Assists with developing comprehensive season ticket plans for football and men’s and women’s basketball, including social media, community event involvement, speaking opportunities and group sales. Manages floor activity for men’s and women’s basketball and football events, assisting with on-court/on-field promotions, script creation, sponsorship presentations, giveaways and in-game details. Complies with NCAA, OVC and TTU guidelines, rules and regulations. Establishes and maintains professional working relationships with University personnel and corporate/community sponsors. Performs other duties as assigned. Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution. One year of experience in marketing, promotions, sales or related area. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Excellent organizational and time management skills. Ability to work extended hours, nights and weekends with occasional travel. Valid driver’s license.
